It starts from Paciano, one of the most beautiful small villages in Umbria, to go up, from a small road that you take as soon as you take the road to Panicale, towards Petrarvella and Pausillo.
At the Bigiarello house you enter a wood that is interesting for its dimensional characteristics and for the variety of tree species present: the predominant chestnut along with specimens of maple, hornbeam, turkey oak, holm oak.
The path, shady and pleasant to walk, rejoins at the top with the ridge road that connects Mount Petrarvella with Mount Pausillo. From this point you can observe the hills surrounding Piegaro.
Continue turning right in the direction of Monte Pausillo, glimpsing the top rich in conifers in the distance, which can be reached along a characteristic avenue of pines. This leads to a pleasant picnic area where a stop is recommended.

A wide dirt road going around the Pausillo begins to descend towards Paciano.
After a while we will abandon it to broaden the tour and include the excursion, giving us wide views towards the Valdichiana and Trasimeno, the small agricultural agglomerations of Pietreto and Varacca. After crossing these areas we will descend to the valley to take a pleasant path, one of the ancient roads traveled by travelers, which will soon bring you back to Paciano.
