Until the last century, military airport named after the well-known Umbrian aviator Leopoldo Eleuteri, now an uncontaminated green area, about one hundred hectares of land, close to the waters of Trasimeno Lake, starting point for trekking itineraries on foot and by bicycle, numerous points of observation of plant and faunal peculiarities both on land and in lakes.
In addition, since 2000, flight activity has resumed using the permanent airfield (ENAC certified) called “Trasimeno" (Runway 800×30 m, grass, 17/35 elev 860 ft – circuit 35 left, 17 right – 43 ° 08.16 ´N 12 ° 01.81´ E) where it is possible to land and take off with motorized aircraft (general aviation, ultralight, paramotor).
