Oil is one of the oldest and most typical products of the Trasimeno area.
The vast hilly olive groves that characterize the landscape of the area make it possible to produce an excellent quality of extra virgin olive oil, certified and guaranteed by the "DOP Umbria" (Protected Designation of Origin) mark and the geographical mention "Colli del Trasimeno".
The area produces excellent oils obtained from the Dolce Agogia, Frantoio, Leccino and Moraiolo varieties.
